Someone made a 500m investment. Im not counting it as an asset and i will only reflect the corporate profit from it (as defined by the terms of the investment) in the asset total. I wont divulge any more detail until the terms of this investment are complete.

Yesterday i had been negotiating with the war deccing oppertunists i mentioned. They are part of an ongoing experiment i will write more about right now. Though i will not say enough so that they stay in the dark so that the experiment may continue on the track i have planned for it.

so basicly they decided to nitpick at one thing i said to give them an excuse to continue their childish attitude toward me. It shows a lot about who they are which is they want to find any excuse to hurt people and this jehovahs witness friend of his certainly is not a proper jehovahs witness because jehovahs witness are not so easily insulted and if they were they would be excommunicated. I have known jehovahs witness members for 1 year and my experience with them makes it clear to me this friend of theirs is either not a jehovahs witness or does not want to be a jehovahs witness by the watchtower its definition but is scared silly of loosing his/her family. Naturally this causes a strong internal conflict he apparantly does not want to face let me quote (from this witness): "hi there, in 48 hours i will destroy u, just letting u know". On the other hand they may just be playing mind games with me . I said that in a very decent way that i could say a lot more strongly as you can quess.

I felt they weren't interested in any form of justice and only in the low life form basic sort of nonsense that complacant and decent old people concede to on a nit to nit basis. Really there is nothing wrong with that, every self respecting politician will tell you that we need to respect cultural diversity.

The minerals i gave oppertunist as collateral to listen to me i estimate were worth about 135m, 4 jumps away from a trading hub. In the beginnings of my negotations with Oppertunist i gave up my pod so that he could show me biomass to his mom (who didn't know this was pre arranged) so they who would then stop moaning and stop their silly war against me (until Oppertunist decided to nitpick me with semantics).
They cost me some dead weight in my corporation and for that i thank thee great Oppertunist.

Their predictable behaviour gives me a lot of control.

27th April Finance Report

the balance statement remains the same at at most 1% lower then it shows in the halfway statement below.
It remains at 1% because mostly thanks to my distraction with:
1 - a wardecleration i mentioned earlier and negotiations with said wardeccers
2a-the absense of a client (see below)
2b-the tieing up of cash into the obtainment of affordable ammo to deliver to 2a client.
3- exploring the named module market and item exchanges and making a few purchases that were way below market.
4- reading forum threads

Today was very educational again. That wardec i talked about is from a group of 4 highsec oppertunists wardeccing a few enemies, carebear, trader/industrial corporations in the Jita area and region. I negotiated a lot with one of their members and that will continue tomorrow. Ill talk about that in detail if they agree to let me.

I was expecting to meet one of the members of the corporation that is ordering "huge quantities of dreadnought ammo". However, the lack of online activity of any representatives or other people of their corp that i could find ment that i had no succes contacting them about the specifics of their order. If none appear within 24 hours, ill look for other lowsec / 0.0 buyers for the inventory that i have set up to deliver to them.

A new investor popped up offering me to manage some isk for him with some demands attached and has left me to think about it until tomorrow when i will probably continue my negotations with the highsec oppertunists i mentioned above. If those negotiations go bad, that new investor offers to help me with that.

But my mind remains too distracted from the war dec and the negotiating. It was very educational but it ended up costing me a lot of energy.

27th April Halfway Finance Report

Yesterday i said i didnt trust my numbers, so... after starting the manufacturing on all the stuff one of my clients was ordering i looked at all assets and this is what results. a net worth of about 1 Billion (including stuff being manufacturd, personal assets, corporate). Made the sheet a little more tidy and added a box that calculates how many shares my salary+dividend is worth every day to make things easier on me.
There havent been so many sales yet except for a few experiments that i am bailing out of at no significant profit.

26th April Finance Report

It seems all went well today. I just cant trust my numbers or am just a little baffled. will doublecheck the net value of my corp tomorrow.

5 days ago i made a 240m ISK investment and today it paid off at 106m profit. Pending a response to that investment about a new inestment of atleast 240m again we will see what happens. We'r on nice cozy standing and chat regularly.
On the other side i ventured into 0.0 sec to sell a few small but expensive products at 100% markup. Relax now, they are just sell orders in a 0.0 system with some activity in local when i was there and they havent sold yet, but its an experiment.
Today that frigate that delivered that experiment got killed and my pod too which lost me about 50m worth in implants, this time im sitting around with 6m implants. Some of the old products that were selling have tanked and i am glad to report i am no longer in that market that is now much more painfully competitive. (probably thanks to my participation in it :)).
I met a potential customer who has ordered "huge quantities of dreadnought ammo" some place in 0.0 sec.

O and on a side note HillAnt has been wardecced. Though i will be hard pushed to notice because 99% of what i do is sit in Jita and do all my things from there. Two new player members who shall we say were taking a more in the field aproach did not apreciate so much and left the corp. We'r in good standing, they just didnt like the war dec.
They'r demanding, 150m. Yea right, i havent even taken 15m damages not even in lost production. (they started fighting me this morning)

so that means... the spirit of the dream realm is calling for me to organize a strategic reorganization after which i will stage more HillAnt ventures and adventures.

April 24th 2009 finance report

Someone upped the price of my major product to a 350% markup and bought out my overnight inventory in the process. I lowered my price to 250% when i woke up and sold nicely to the same person again. It seems that person has learned not to do it again because everyone is trying to get a piece of the action. I have gone back to some older products i feel have a better audiance that will respond to my offering delivery services of this older product. The same product that got me my first 75m contract on this account.

Today i was spending a lot of time reading up and learning about excell. I was expanding on my product manufacturing line spreadsheet again. Learned a few things about it.
My sole product that i did produce today is dropping in price to where profit margins are beginning to make their point. I feel i have stuck with this product too long. No more of this particular product anymore. It has dropped 25% in value. Someone else was bidding against me and i bought it at 25% below at what i am selling it at now which is still 25% lower then yDay. I have sent many mails about delivering this product but it seems the customer base is tooo mobile to want delivery because i am not getting any replies to any of my offers. There may be other reasons and i am not aware of.

I will conduct some experiments tomorrow.

22nd April 2009 Finance Report

this morning i obtained and sold two PLEX cards and reinvested the 600m in the corporation because i was negotiating with a potential director (he probably doesnt know yet that i have that in mind) about investing 240m in him and him returning the investment in 5 days with 50% of the profit he makes with it. I feel he will be much more friendly to future communications. I will talk more about that probably on monday when he will pay up.
Business tonight appears to be going very very good. I am making a product with a market that is worth 200+ million ISK profit in The Forge region.

today im not making a finance report i estimate the profits are about0 because i have made very little effort in the ways of making any money.
it was a long day of setting up plans and doing experiments and doing research on business oppertunities. I have found one investment oppertunity along the way. but enough talk

19th April financial report

First half of today i have focussed on exploring the profitability of finding customers for my product base by selling on the open market below market price with marginal profit margins and communicating with the purchasers to see how i can be of service. The products i could sell for quick buck were less reliable today. I didnt feel like doing the old thing by then and then a potential Chief Officer pops up and impresses me a little and i will decide wether he is a candidate for taking over the responsebility for the manufacturing and developing of HillAnt corp product lines.

After that person submitted his application for membership in the corp i came up with the idea described in the HillAnt master riddle. I will invest a lot of effort into that tomorrow.
A portion of tomorrow i will invest into small 2m ISK or alike investments like the one below with different types of agreements.

April 18th finance report

New shares have been issued. The CEO salary and dividend are mostly cosmetic, only the new shareholders dividend has left a record of 4.5m. I reinvest my dividends and will move 290 shares to my personal character to reflect this time more officially becaise i have a shareholder now. By popular vote the issuing of 560 new shares will officiallize it. 190 Nif, 290 to me and the rest stays in the corp and is not counted in my accounting.

I invested most of the 40m profit mentioned below on a slightly product with potential for massive growth. Altough its manufacture gives me logistic trouble. I quess my new found newbie recruiting skills will come in handy to find some haulers.

Today i also invested a lot of time in one of the new players. Someone who came fresh off... i dont know. Barely a day old into the game. Spent atleast half the day explaining the game to him in terms of manufacturing, return on investment and all sorts of stuff... invested 1.2 mil in cash. Any other investment will require some proof in the pudding so to speak. The 1st new player in the corp logged in a little bit. using surplus BPCs that i wouldnt know how to use. I rented an office at 3m / month. I started to make a product that gives negligable markup on the open market and i will use the data that the transactions provide to open communication channels with potential clients and contacts that will pay a markup not found in the open market for delivery services. In this same manner did i get my contact with the 60m profit deal that basicly put Hillant corp net value 200% up in one deal.

Getting to the corp HQ

The first step as a new player and prospective HillAnt corp member is to make your way to the corporations HQ and fill in an application.
If you have no familiarity with navigation and have trouble with jumping more then 2 jumps in less then 80 seconds in your newbie frigate then read this.

Where ever you are get out into space preferably in your starter frigate or preferred ship of choice. Go to the top left of the screen scroll down to people & places click it and in the scroll down box next to the search fill in box look up solar system. Then fill in ohmahailen in the destination. Click search. Find ohmahailen in the now apparant list and right click it then click set destination.

close the people & places window and go to the overview screen to your top right (expand it if it is not) and you will see a list of stuff. probably stations, stargates and player ships. At the left of the list are the icons. Find the listing of the stargate with a yellow icon. Right click it and click jump to within 0m. Wait until your ship warps over. Then right click it again and click jump. Then repeat and repeat until you are in Ohmahailen.

In Ohamhailen right click in empty space and go to the station menu. Look up ohmahailen V - Moon 6 - . Jump to 0m and dock. To the bottom right are corporation details. Click the headquarter button and look up HillAnt corp in the long long list and select it and find the apply / join button. After that the CEO or a recruitment officer must accept the application.

i finalized a contract, 20m investment from me 75m return in one day.
Yesterday i invited a 7 day old character who turns out to be a miner with industrial skills. Hurray.
Ill be using my 4 factory slots to produce product worth 7m profit. Otherwise i am coming up with new business oppertunities. Speaking of which, i need a slick presentation form to put them in with bells, whistles, birds, trees, dwarfs, fairies, unicorns, rainbows...

April 17th Financial report

woke up to a overnight purchase of 12 million of my product. I contacted one of the purchasers and i will suply my product at their next event for about 25m investment, 50m profit. The large Net Value of the HillAnt corp is because the factories will finish producing a net value of product (worth at least 60m) while i sleep.

One invester contacted me for an 15m investment but i delayed further communications
because i need my sleep. Give me dreamzzz... yummy

16 April financial report

I have a BPO producing stuff for me, it seems i wont need a bpc because the market would become too satured and prices + profit margins would drop. I sold half the product of 1 days run of that bpo (worth 7-17 mil profit) into. Starting 12 hour production run for tomorrow. I reached level 2 production efficiency while writing this and it will be level 3 soon

CEO speaks

For my exploring of the market in the Forge (and adjecent) regions i have made a spreadsheet (I use and create excell spreadsheets for many many things)

This spread sheet analyzes a particular market in a particular region and compares the cost of production compared to profit and the return on investment.

HillAnt Corp now 1 day fresh into space and he has now level 3 in all basic learning skills except perception, industry 3 and mass production 2, 4 +1 implants except perception, trade 2, corp management 2, and a bunch of other default ones.

So far i'v sold 2.8million in product and 2.3million of it is profit. 9000 units worth a total of 3-7 million profit rolled out of the factory. Will get to selling it in a jiffy. Ill be training the ethnic training so i can recruit all races; marketing and procurement trading skills so i dont have to move around much.

Im putting up a balance spreadsheet and income statement (when i log in after the patch) of quality compareable the manufacturing spreadsheet.

I re-started my account yesterday. I forked over 16 million ISK for investment to my new main account and started the termination countdown on the old one which is now well done. My old account from 2 years ago was strongly focussed on what many players do which is everything at once right now like a headless chicken. I was forever ignorant of the market. I felt i needed a fresh start and no reminder of that past, AntSpice now lies where no star shines.

I have played several market simulation games (and other types of simulation games) the last months. Games including capitalism 2, cashflow 101 & 202, SimEarth, SimFarm (i was 5 yrs), RCT 1 2 3. (and many other games not related or remembered)

I feel the eve community & economy is the next logical step towards understanding and learning the force of the people and the market they build. I see it as an adventure to continue improving my ability to discern true value both in game and in real life.

Well, here goes:
I started out by getting used to the basic functions again and immediactly disco,- and rediscovering character skills, the new attribute remapping feature, the new skill training que system (!!!).
I got myself settled in again.

It is my intent to use my ship as little as possible. As the ceo i feel i need to learn to be lazy be delegating whatever i can to whoever can do and will do it. For this i use contracts at the time of this writing and writing to contractees for future interaction potential.
